"Bryn Tirion" means "gentle hill" in Welsh. When we moved on to this hill in late 2005, it was just that — a gentle hill. No house, no barn — just raw land. Twelve acres of mostly woods, with some fields.
And then we built our house and did all the other things necessary to create a modest homestead.
It was in September of last year when we first visited an Alpaca farm. It's an entertaining story. At least to us , it is.
