Bryn Tirion Farm

Our Farm Story}

"Bryn Tirion" means "gentle hill" in Welsh. When we moved on to this hill in late 2005, it was just that — a gentle hill. No house, no barn — just raw land. Twelve acres of mostly woods, with some fields.

And then we built our house and did all the other things necessary to create a modest homestead.

And then we discovered Alpacas

It was in September of 2007 when we first visited an Alpaca farm. It's an entertaining story. At least to us , it is.

If you want to find out how we got from A to B, please . . .

Fleece, Fiber, Yarn

And, when you get Alpacas, you get ... FLEECE! And if you get yourself a spinning wheel, you can turn it into lovely hand-spun yarn, which is what Robin has been doing with it:

When Kip isn't helping Robin with the alpacas, he's busy building websites for other folks. If you'd like to talk to him about that, just send him an email.
